Chile is a country of stunning landscapes. It’s home to icy mountain peaks, glistening glacial lakes, and vast blooming fields—and each landscape offers a different kind of adventure for its visitors. Located in southern Chile, the park was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978 and is home to four different ecological environments: Pre-Andean scrubland, deciduous Magellan forests, the Patagonia Steppe, and the Andean desert.
